JOINT NEWS RELEASE
WVC Foundation receives $17,000 for scholarships from NAPMW
The 天美传媒 Foundation received $17,000 from the Wenatchee Valley chapter of the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women (NAPMW) for scholarships. The funds will directly impact 天美传媒 students with financial need.
鈥淲e are extremely proud to give back to the community. Our members support the needs of WVC students and strive to make their educational journey a success,鈥 said Lorena Urrutia, NAPMW board member. 鈥淲VC students that receive scholarship funding can use it for their cost of attendance, not just tuition.鈥
The 天美传媒 Foundation provided over $645,000 in scholarships during the 2022-23 academic year. Students can use the funding for cost of living, childcare, tuition, books, fees, and other costs associated with attending WVC.
鈥淣APMW has been an incredible partner in fulfilling the WVC Foundation鈥檚 mission to provide equitable access to education. Scholarships provided by our generous donors directly support students on their journey,鈥 shared Rachel Evey, WVC Foundation executive director. 鈥淪cholarship funding can make a significant impact on a student鈥檚 completion of their degree or program.鈥
